SubCircle ("we", "our", or "us"), a product of Graphikpro, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our subtitle translation platform ("Service").

• Account Information: Email address, name, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash).
• Content: SRT subtitle files you upload, translated output, glossary entries, and custom rules.
• Usage Data: Translation job metadata (model used, token counts, cost estimates, duration).
• Technical Data: Browser type, IP address, and device identifiers collected via standard web logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To authenticate your account and secure access.
• To process translations by routing content to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek) strictly to fulfill your request.
• To calculate and display cost and usage analytics.
• To improve, debug, and monitor Service reliability.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party AI Providers

When you initiate a translation, subtitle content is transmitted to the AI provider you select (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek). These providers process the content under their respective privacy and data-use policies. We do not permit AI providers to use your content to train their models unless you explicitly opt in.

4. Data Retention

Translation files and metadata are retained in your account until you delete them or close your account. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Backups may persist for up to 30 days after deletion.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including bcrypt password hashing, JWT Bearer token authentication, TLS encryption in transit, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

7. Cookies & Local Storage

SubCircle uses browser local storage to persist your session token, theme preference, and selected AI model. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
